The beta
Sable is a free beta order tracker at sabletracker.com. You can connect a mailbox, and Sable tries to turn order and shipping mail into a ledger of orders, packages, and expenses. You can also save Discord webhooks for status alerts.
The beta can change, break, or stop. A feature in the interface may be incomplete. These terms cover the beta as it works on the effective date. The Privacy Policy describes the information the beta handles. Questions go to support@sabletracker.com.
A demo deployment, when that mode is on, uses sample orders. In that mode, actions that would charge a card, call Discord, or open a mailbox stay inside the demo and do not do those things. The live beta is not that demo.
Using an account
You need an email address you can access. Sign-in is email and password, Google, or Discord. Apple sign-in is not offered. Email and password accounts must verify the email before signing in. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping the password to yourself.
The live beta may be invite-only. Creating an account then requires an invite code. Signing in to an account that already exists does not.
Sable does not ask your age. If you do not agree to this page, do not use Sable. If you believe a child created an account, email support@sabletracker.com.
Mailboxes you connect
Connect only a mailbox you are allowed to read. You are responsible for the Google grant, the Microsoft grant, or the IMAP app password you provide. Do not connect someone else's mailbox unless they have let you do that.
Gmail access is read-only: the scope is https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly. IMAP opens INBOX read-only and downloads with BODY.PEEK on port 993. Outlook, if you connect it, uses Microsoft Mail.Read rather than a scope that sends or edits mail. Sable does not offer a way to send, delete, or change mail, and you agree not to try to make it do that.
Disconnecting a mailbox deletes the stored token or app password. For Gmail, Sable also asks Google to revoke the token when Google accepts that call. Orders already imported stay until you clear them, remove that inbox's imported data, or delete the account.
Discord webhooks
Webhook alerts are optional. If you save a URL, you are responsible for where it points. Save only a webhook you are allowed to post to. Sable will send order title, status, a short detail line, and a tracking number when it has one. A webhook URL works like a password for that channel. Do not point Sable at a channel you do not control.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Read a mailbox, Discord account, or webhook you are not allowed to use.
- Try to open another person's Sable account, session, or data.
- Probe, disrupt, or overload the service.
- Use Sable to send mail, change mail, or place an order.
- Rely on the ledger as a bill, a bank record, or a promise that a package moved.
Tracking and the ledger
Sable parses tracking from mail. It does not subscribe to a carrier. A sync looks back about 90 days at first and caps a pass at about 400 messages. Gmail search can miss order mail that does not match, and it can download mail that is not an order. IMAP reads the INBOX in that window, which can include mail that is not an order.
Totals, item names, statuses, and tracking numbers can be missing or wrong. A carrier link, when one is found, opens that carrier's site. Sable does not promise that every order or every scan will appear.
Free beta and payments
The live beta is free. There is no payment processor, no checkout, and no card on file. Pro is not yet live. You cannot buy, upgrade, or manage a paid plan. A request to start a payment is refused, and no charge is made. Do not send card numbers to Sable. There is nowhere in the product to put one.
The free account has a limit on connected inboxes. That limit is an inbox cap, not a subscription.
Your material and Sable's software
You keep your mail and the notes, addresses, and amounts you enter. You let Sable store and process them so the beta can run, including parsing, the ledger, an export you request, and a Discord message you turned on. That permission ends when the related data is deleted, except for a feedback note or a deletion record described in the Privacy Policy.
The Sable name, logo, and software are not transferred to you by using the beta. These terms do not name a legal entity, because one is not stated here.
Stopping and deleting
You can delete the account in Settings. Deletion removes the user and the records tied to that user, including inboxes, orders, saved messages, webhooks, and sessions. Read the Privacy Policy for what that deletion does not automatically remove.
Sable may disable an account that breaks these terms, including unauthorized mailbox access or disruption of the service. A disabled account cannot sign in. These terms do not promise a notice period before that happens.
No promises, and limits
The beta is provided as it is. Sable does not promise that the service will be up, that parsing will be complete, or that a tracking status will be correct. You are responsible for decisions you make from the ledger, including purchases, returns, and resale numbers you type in.
To the extent a limit is allowed, Sable is not liable for missed packages, buying or selling decisions, lost profits, or other indirect losses from the beta. You are not paying for this beta, so there is no fee to refund. Where a rule does not allow a limit like that, the limit does not apply. These terms do not choose a state, a country, or a court.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, the date at the top changes. If you keep using Sable after that date, you are accepting the updated page. If you do not agree, stop using Sable and delete the account.
Email support@sabletracker.com about these terms. The Privacy Policy is the companion page.
